Hi, how tin can I use cmd to shut port lxxx on my win7 home premium pc? I desire to disable web-browsing at sure times of the day while keeping my IM program connected so that people can still call me.
I have tried a program, iNetProtector, that does just that. All the same, correct after installing the program the pc is soooooooooooooooooo slow, each click takes nigh v mins to answer. I fifty-fifty suspected if it was a malware, the merely thing I could do is to look ages for the pc to restart and then enter safe mode to uninstall it.
Thank you.

You lot don't need the cmd prompt to disable port fourscore.
To disable port 80, go to Windows Firewall with Advanced Security (just blazon it in the Start search box). On the left you lot'll see Outbound Rules, right-click on it and select New Rule...
Then, select Port in rule type and hit Next. Select protocol TCP and type 80 in the Specific Remote Port box. Then, select Cake the connection and hit Side by side. Select the network profile(s), give it a name (and remember information technology) and click on End.
This new rule will be added to the list of Outbound Rules. In example you want to enable web browsing dorsum again, observe the rule past name, right-click information technology and striking Disable Dominion. That's it. Enable or disable this rule as desired.
Please revert back here in case of whatever queries. Hope it helps!
